Destination & Topic Information

We also provide classroom and on-the-road training prior to giving solo assignments. Our first tours will depart in 2007.

Assignments

Our current tours are domestic one-week ground-only packages. They all follow a similar itinerary, regardless of where they start: two nights in the gateway city, motorcoach to a remote natural location, stay four nights, then return to the gateway city for the final night. Therefore, group logistics are less demanding than on most escorted tours.

However, our tour conductors interact more closely with participants. We encourage social activity among participants and pay close attention to their emotional predispositions as they progress through typical anticipated phases during a weeklong vacation. Our group-management techniques address the fundamental reasons people take vacations and help ensure a memorable, deeply satisfying tour experience.

In addition to leading tours, our conductors host occasional Saturday evening dinner parties for our members in various cities, and also assist other conductors in hosting the weekend hospitality suites at the start of each tour.
